We are looking for an exceptional Customer Category Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s success by driving category growth, optimizing product assortment, and strengthening relationships with retail partners. This role leads the Wholesale & Convenience function of the category team and involves analyzing market trends, developing category strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximize performance and market share within key retail accounts.

How You Will Contribute

  • Update regular reports (creating and optimizing, where required), reviewing category and brand performance.
  • Share actionable insights with the Sales, Product & Marketing teams, to ensure that they are armed with relevant category insights and recommendations, presenting at monthly team meetings.
  • Build relationships with key W&C customers, supporting them with initiative-taking analysis and presenting key category recommendations.
  • Conduct Range Reviews, identifying category opportunities and providing merchandising solutions that are right for the shopper, retailer, and Grenade business.
  • Have a commercial mindset when making recommendations.
  • Connect multiple insights to develop compelling and succinct sell-in stories for new category opportunities.
  • Continuously look for trends and opportunities to add value and create category improvements with our data & insight.

What You Will Bring

  • Category development, key accounts and market insight analysis and delivering growth through category leadership.
  • Experience with PowerBI and Nielsen as a minimum.
  • Having a future-focused mindset, demonstrating curiosity about industry trends, digital solutions and innovation for consumers and translating opportunities into business plans.
  • Delivering strategic plans, measuring and monitoring results, and making recommendations to achieve growth targets.
  • Influence stakeholders and interacting effectively with others, with the courage and resilience to hold an alternative point of view.
  • Analytical skills and business acumen.
