Customer Contact Assistant (Waste Changes)

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract

Contract Duration (Fixed Term): 9 months

Full Time/Part Time: Full Time

Hours Per Week: 37

Salary Range: £25,947.47 per annum (£13.45ph)

Location: This role will be based at either the Horncastle or Spalding site

Exciting opportunity to join our client’s Customer Contact Team!

Our client is recruiting Customer Contact Assistants to join their well-established team, supporting changes to local councils’ waste services as part of their busy contact centre.

This role will be based at one of their offices in Horncastle or Spalding on a 9-month contract, starting on 7th September.

It is expected however, that you will be able to organise own travel to attend their offices and other worksites when required to do so.

They are looking for quick thinking, solution-focused individuals, who work with a one-team approach to improve standards of service delivery. Their recruitment package supports their new Assistants through an exclusive and bespoke training programme.

As a Customer Contact Assistant, you will provide an efficient, effective and customer-focused first point of contact for customers who contact our client via methods such as telephone, email, post, web chat or face to face, spanning across their three Client Council Districts. You will provide customers with a knowledgeable and professional service supporting upcoming changes to waste services. You will ensure that all contacts are managed in an efficient, caring manner and that excellent customer service is delivered.

What you will need:

  • Hold Grade C (4) or above (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics and be competent in using Microsoft Office packages.
  • Previous experience working in a customer focused environment and dealing with customer complaints or service requests.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail when following processes.
