Customer Coordinator

Customer Coordinator – Advo Health

We’re the largest and leading subcontractor in government health assessments, helping the Department for Work and Pensions provide crucial support to those most in need of help. With a team of dedicated healthcare professionals across the UK, we’re proud that over 95% of claimants say their experience with us was positive.

About the Role

We’re currently looking for a Customer Coordinator to join our Advo Health team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a customer-facing role, central to ensuring a positive experience for claimants through every stage of the disability assessment process.

As a Customer Coordinator based at one of our Assessment Centres—with the option for hybrid working—you’ll play a vital role in creating smooth and productive assessment days while delivering exceptional support to both claimants and healthcare professionals.

Our goal? To ensure advantageous experiences that contribute to our industry-leading average of 95%+ positive feedback. This is an inspiring opportunity for someone with strong customer service skills looking to make a meaningful difference, especially in supporting those navigating what can be a complex and anxiety-inducing process.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Customer Coordinator, your responsibilities include:

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the Assessment Centre reception area.
  • Conducting courtesy calls with claimants to clarify details and set expectations before assessments.
  • Assisting claimants in completing forms and expense claims to ensure their applications remain accurate and up to date.
  • Updating in-house computer systems while maintaining the security and accuracy of records.
  • Having the confidentiality and diplomacy to reschedule appointments when necessary.
  • Notifying the healthcare professionals and management teams of any additional support claimants may need.
  • Ensuring that assessment rooms and equipment are prepared and working correctly in advance of appointments.
  • Maintaining a neat, professional, and welcoming workspace that reassures claimants.
  • Immediately escalating any accidents, incidents, or inappropriate behaviour.
  • Providing support across multiple sites when required and contributing to general administrative duties.
  • Building strong relationships with claimants, healthcare professionals, and our wider team to foster trust and reliability throughout the process.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
