Customer Delivery Assistant – Permanent Full-Time Role
Role Overview
Location: Bristol (working at the Bristol Customer Service Centre) Grade: 1 Contract: Permanent • Full-Time (45 working hours per week) Shift Pattern: Shifts over 8 days Salary: £29,975.40

As our Customer Delivery Assistant, you’ll spend your days out on the road, delivering cutting-edge technology to our customers and enjoying incredible people experiences every single day.
But this role is about so much more than just delivery. You’ll be trained to install smart tech, from high-tech washing machines and fridge-freezers to stunning 4K TVs, ensuring you leave every customer smiling and delighted with their products. About the Role
As our Customer Delivery Assistant, you’ll be working in close partnership with our team of drivers, delivering exceptional service and technical excellence to our customers.

You’ll be responsible for:
- Completing multi-drop delivery routes alongside our trained drivers, including lifting and handling products that may be heavy
- Connecting warmly and engagingly with every customer who receives a Currys install or delivery, leaving them with a five-star experience
- Installing a wide range of products—from ingredient-spec tech to complex gaming setups—so our customers can enjoy their purchases quickly and safely

Responsibilities
- Teamwork: Collaborate with delivery drivers, handling goods as part of a team
- Person-centred service: Build trust and ensure every customer feels valued—smiling faces and a “curry vibe” included!
- Technical installation: Install home appliances and electronics while following safety guidelines
- Adaptability: Lamely handle different product requirements, from small appliances to large furniture items
Requirements
Applicants will need to:
- Showcase exceptional customer service skills, with genuine enthusiasm to go the extra mile
- (Ideal but not essential):
- Hold a full car driving licence
- Have had experience in a delivery or on-site installation-based role
- Physical capability: Demonstrate agility and strength for lifting and moving stock for long periods
