About the Role
At Asda, we help you "find your everything." As a Customer Delivery Driver within our store team, you’ll play a central role in shaping the customer experience—delivering smiles, goods, and service to our customers' doors.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Loading/unloading vans while maintaining a customer-focused attitude.
- Executing deliveries efficiently, ensuring products reach customers with care.
- Cleaning and maintaining your van (training provided).
- Offering support during peak store operations, including picking and packing online orders.
- Representing Asda’s commitment to quality service in a dynamic retail environment.
This is a part-time role, perfect for those seeking flexibility and variety—no two shifts will be the same!
What You’ll Need
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
- 1 year’s driving experience (12+ months driving licence). Full or automatic only.
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
- Previous commercial driving experience is desirable but not essential.
- Valid UK full or provisional driving licence.
- A friendly, helpful, and approachable demeanour.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Availability and flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
