Customer Delivery Driver

Customer Delivery Driver

About the Role

As one of our Customer Delivery Drivers, you’ll bring the unique blend of quality Waitrose produce and Partner-led service right to our customers’ doors. You'll be based at our purpose-built Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC) in Coulsdon, a location closed to the public and equipped with bespoke systems to ensure top-tier service delivery for customers ordering online in London and surrounding areas.

In addition to your contractual pay, any time worked between 22:00–06:00 attracts a Night Premium of £3.75 per hour. This applies to all Partners on Enhanced Hours Premium schemes.

Minimum Age Requirement: You must be 18 years or older to apply for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing for delivery: Check daily routes and complete thorough vehicle safety checks on your van, ensuring full road compliance and health & safety adherence.
  • Customer engagement: Act as a brand ambassador for Waitrose, prioritising exceptional customer service—assisting customers with orders and building lasting relationships.
  • Support duties: Help with shopkeeping tasks when required, contributing to the smooth operation of the CFC.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
