Wages & Hours
- Base pay starts at £14.18/hour, rising to £15.45 for stores within the M25.
- Additional location-based payments may apply.
- Guaranteed minimum of 16 hours/week for new colleagues; part-time opportunities (minimum 12 hours/week) are also available.
About the Role
What You’ll Do
As a Customer Delivery Driver, you’re the friendly face of Tesco, helping customers every day with deliveries from Lands’ End to John O’Groats.
Your responsibilities include:
- Driving safely and efficiently while ensuring meticulous attention to order accuracy.
- Keeping the van and trays clean, tidy, and organised.
- Leaving the premises free of litter and maintaining a respectful standard.
- Assisting customers with order changes, substitutions, or refunds.
- Partners seamlessly with dispatch teams to load/unload while confirming van roadworthiness.
- Call customers in advance if arriving early, and notify stores if over 30 minutes late.

Requirements
Essential
- UK/EU/EEA Full Driving Licence (Manual or Automatic) for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.
- Compliance with UK Domestic Driving Rules.
- Confidence in delivering top-tier customer service.
