Our Customer Delivery Driver role starts with a rate of pay of £14.18 per hour. Additional payments may apply, depending on location.
We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week for all new colleagues. If you prefer to work fewer hours (minimum 12), flexibility is still available.
The availability windows outlined above indicate when we need you to be available for shifts. Shifts will be scheduled within these times, with 3 weeks’ notice. Flexibility is supported—if your availability closely matches or aligns with these times, we’d welcome your application.
Our drivers are at the forefront of customer service, helping deliver smiles to our customers from Lands’ End to John O’Groats. This role goes beyond driving—it’s about relationships, problem-solving, and providing outstanding service. No two days are the same, and you’ll take pride in delivering a tidy work environment, engaging with customers, and adapting to meet their needs.

Main Responsibilities
- Deliver customers' shopping with care and efficiency, ensuring:
- The driving van and delivery trays are clean, organised, and roadworthy.
- The backyard is tidied and litter-free before and after shifts.
- Trays are washed as part of the standard process.
- Loading of the van follows skill-assessed expectations.

- Engaging with customers by:
- Adapting order changes (e.g., substitutions or refunds) with professionalism.
- Confirming arrival times and calling customers when running late.
- Explaining any substitutions without extra charge.
- Ensuring time slots are respected and deliveries completed promptly.
Key Requirements
- Proven ability to maintain strong teamwork and positivity.
- Customer-centric mindset: Welcoming, attentive, and discreet in service.
- Efficiency & flexibility: Adapting to shifts, demand, and customer needs.
- Ownership & drive: Going the extra mile to improve store standards.
- Hak highlights: A valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) with minimum 12 months’ experience and no more than 3 penalty points.
