Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £14.18 per hour, increasing to £15.45 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply based on location.
We offer minimum 16 guaranteed hours per week for new colleagues, though fewer hours (minimum 12) may be possible.
- Availability may vary slightly—we’re happy to hear from candidates whose preferred times closely match our schedule.
- 3 weeks’ notice will be provided for shift allocations.

Responsibilities
Key Customer Delivery Tasks
- Deliver shopping orders with excellent service and care
- Ensure vehicles (van/trays) are clean, well-organised, and roadworthy
- Maintain a clean and litter-free backyard environment
- Wash trays as part of the regular tray wash process
- Preload vans with orders while ensuring efficient loading
- Undertake and check delivery vans before each shift to confirm roadworthiness
- Engage with customers via:
- Handling order modifications, substitutions, or refunds
- Call ahead when arriving early
- Alerting the store if running 30+ minutes late
- Treat all products and orders with peerless care
- Ensure transparency on substitutions with customers

Job Requirements
- Must build strong team spirit and maintain open communication with colleagues
- Provide a welcoming approach to customers and peers—gratitude is key
- Fast-thinking problem solver: adapt quickly to customer requests
- Arduously reliable with self-drive and a focus on driving beyond expectations
- Support work-life balance—offering suggestions to improve store operations
- Full/Automatic Driving Licence (UK/EU/EEA) for at least 12 months, limited to no more than 3 penalty points
- Capable of adhering to GB domestic driving regulations
