About the Role
As the face of Tesco on the road, our Customer Delivery Drivers deliver exceptional service to customers in their homes. More than just driving, this role is about making a positive impact through hands-on, diverse work, ensuring every day feels fresh and engaging.
You’ll operate largely independently, supported by a trusting team back at base for guidance when needed. The role thrives on flexibility and adaptability, keeping you continually engaged with no two shifts alike.

Pay & Hours
Starting at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 within the M25 corridor. Some locations offer additional payments.
- Guaranteed minimum of 16 hours/week (roles from 12 hours also available).
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Keeping your van, trays, and work area clean, tidy, and organised for a flawless delivery experience.
- Safely loading your vehicle and completing thorough checks to ensure roadworthiness and reliability.
- Assisting customers with order changes, substitutions, or short-dated goods, offering refunds where necessary for a smooth experience.
- Handling products with care and professionalism, like they’re your own.
- Modern deliveries punctually to customers, providing friendly, natural service at the doorstep.

Requirements
To excel in this role, you will:
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues to create a cohesive team and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Be warm and welcoming to customers and your team.
- Adapt quickly to changing customer needs, both on the road and during in-store visits.
- Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA licence (full or automatic) with at least 12 months’ experience and no more than 3 penalty points.
