Every day:
- Sun: 08:30 – 19:00
- Mon: Full 24-hour availability
- Tue: Full 24-hour availability
- Wed: Full 24-hour availability
- Thu: Full 24-hour availability
- Fri: 18:00 – 23:00
- Sat: 08:00 - 18:00
Your role is an incredible mix of hands-on tasks, customer service, and problem-solving. You’ll leave a positive impact on customers' lives every day – not just by delivering their shopping, but by making them feel valued.
Responsibilities
As a Customer Delivery Driver, you’ll be responsible for:
- Maintaining customer delight through friendly communication, attention to detail, and exceptional service
- Ensuring your van, trays, and workspace are always clean, tidy, and well-organised
- Loading the van professionally and conducting thorough pre-delivery checks
- Guiding customers through order changes, substitutions, or urgent requests in an empathetic manner
- Handling products with care to match Tesco's high standards
- Delivering orders on time with a warm, smiley greeting and excellent presentation
- Offering refunds when necessary to satisfy customers
The role requires independence, as much of the day is spent off-site reaching customers. However, a robust management structure means you are always supported during your shifts.

Pay & Hours
- Starting pay: £14.18 per hour (with progression to £15.45 in stores within the M25 for those who operate in patterned hours)
- Additional location payments may apply in some areas
- Minimum of 16 hours per week guaranteed, roles from 12 hours also available
Requirements

Legal & Compliance
- A valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence, held for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points
