Customer Delivery Driver

About The Role

As one of our Customer Delivery Drivers, you’ll bring the unique blend of Waitrose quality produce and Partner-led service right to our customers’ doors. You’ll be based at our purpose-built Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC) in Coulsdon, which is closed to the public and features bespoke equipment to maximise delivery service standards.

Customers purchasing online within London and the surrounding areas will benefit from deliveries fulfilled from this centre. Due to its operational nature, you must be 18 years of age or older to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily responsibilities (typically starting in-store) include:

  • Checking and planning your delivery routes for the day.
  • Ensuring all vehicle safety checks for the van are completed, maintaining full road compliance and health and safety standards.
  • Acting as an ambassador for the Waitrose brand, prioritising exceptional customer service during deliveries.
  • Assisting customers with their shopping and fostering trust-based relationships founded on quality service.
  • Supporting the wider CFC team with general shopkeeping tasks when required.

Essential Skills/Experience

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
