About the Role
Tesco are looking for dedicated Customer Delivery Drivers to join our team.

Our Customer Delivery Driver role currently starts from £14.18 per hour, with additional payments depending on your location. There is a minimum guarantee of 16 hours per week, though part-time roles starting from 12 hours/week are also available.
We will schedule your shifts within the availability windows shown in the table. You will receive at least 3 weeks’ notice for your shift timing.

Responsibilities
As a Customer Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring vehicles (vans) and trays are clean, tidy, and organised
- Cleaning the delivery area and picking up litter
- Following the tray wash process
- Loading the van, checking safety compliance for roadworthiness
- Managing customer orders, including handling changes (item substitutions, refunds)
- Providing a welcoming service and explaining refund policies
- Delivering within the customer’s allotted time slot
- Notifying customers by phone if arriving early
- Notifying the store if running 30+ minutes late

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you need:
- The ability to build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit
- A warm and welcoming attitude towards customers and colleagues
- Outgoing personality to quickly adapt to changing customer needs
- Energetic and driven to submit excellent customer service
- A balance between home and work commitments
- The willingness to share feedback on service improvements with managers
- A valid UK/EU/EEA driver’s licence (full car or automatic licensing for at least 12 months)
- Holding not more than 3 penalty points on your license
