About the Role
As Tesco’s Customer Delivery Driver, you’ll go beyond driving—you’ll be the smile and voice of Tesco, bringing shopping directly to customers' doors. This hands-on role demands energy, adaptability, and a passion for great service. Every day brings variety, with no two shifts the same. While you’ll work independently much of the time, you’ll always have the support of a trusted team back at base.
Pay & Commitment
- Brislington: Starts at £14.18/hour (rises to £15.45 within the M25 metro area)
- Additional payments may apply in select locations
- Minimum 16 hours/week guaranteed (flexible roles from 12 hours also available)
What You’ll Be Doing
Your responsibilities include:
- Maintaining spotless vehicles, trays, and work areas to ensure customer orders arrive pristine and high-quality.
- Conducting safety checks to guarantee vans are roadworthy, reliable, and ready for flawless deliveries.
- Assisting customers with order changes, substitutions, or outdated items, offering friendly solutions (including refunds) to smooth their experience.
- Handling all products with care, treating each order as if it were your own to uphold quality and trust.
- Delivering on time every time, providing warm and natural service to leave customers happy and well looked after.

Requirements
To thrive in this role, you must bring:
- A friendly, outgoing personality—warm, welcoming, and adaptable.
- The ability to anticipate customer needs and respond flexibly—whether on the road or in the store.
- A valid full/automatic UK/EU/EEA driving licence (held for at least 12 months) with no more than 3 penalty points.
People skills: You’ll work closely with colleagues and customers, so a team player attitude is essential.
