Customer Delivery Driver (Waitrose & Partners)
About the Role
As one of our Customer Delivery Drivers, you’ll bring our unique blend of quality Waitrose produce and Partner-led service directly to customers’ doors. Embracing our ethos: "passionate Partners serving food lovers."
When not delivering, you’ll support the team with daily tasks, including:
- Stock replenishment
- Housekeeping
Your contributions help keep the shop running efficiently and in a friendly, welcoming way.
Additional Pay:
- Night Premium of £3.75/hour for any work between 22:00–06:00 (applies to existing Partnership members, too).
Eligibility:
- Minimum age: 18+
Key Responsibilities
A typical day starts in-store and includes:
- Checking and optimising delivery routes.
- Loading and preparing your van for deliveries, ensuring orders are organised for efficient service.
- Conducting all required vehicle safety checks to maintain road compliance and health/safety standards.
- Acting as a brand ambassador while delivering—customer service is the top priority.
- Helping or answering customer queries to build trust and rapport.
- Supporting shopkeeping tasks as needed when not delivering.

Essential Requirements
You must:
- Hold a full valid UK B-category manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills.
- Be organised with time management abilities.
- Have the physical capacity for tasks like lifting crates or moving cages.
- Work independently, self-motivated, and adaptable.
- Be IT literate.

Role Details
- Location: Truro (Waitrose & Partners), Tregurra Park, Truro, Cornwall, TR1 1RH
- Contract Type: Permanent
- Hours: Part-time with varied shifts (Mon–Sun, including early starts, late finishes, evenings, and weekends from 06:00–22:30)
- Pay: £14.31/hour
- Closing Date: 7 July 2026
