About the Role
At Asda, we want you to find your everything as a Customer Delivery Driver in our store team.
You’ll be at the heart of the customer experience, serving with pride and enthusiasm. Whether loading your van, delivering to customers’ doors, or picking/packing online orders during busy periods, your role is crucial to delivering a seamless experience. When not driving, you’ll ensure your van remains clean and operational—so don’t worry, you won’t need mechanics’ skills; full training is provided!
Responsibilities
- Deliver products to customers with a friendly, reliable, and professional demeanour
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of your van between shifts
- Assist with picking/packing online orders during peak hours
- Support colleagues as part of a collaborative team
- Practice empathy to ensure every customer’s experience is positive

Requirements
Essential
- Valid UK driving licence (full or automatic only) for at least 12 months, with no more than 6 penalty points
- Passion for customer service—helpful, approachable, and energetic
- Willingness to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere
- Flexibility to work a mix of shifts, including weekends and nights
Preferred
- Prior delivery or retail experience (though not essential – we’ll train you!)
- Technical mastery unnecessary, but an attitude of dare-to-learn is key
