Driver (Customer Engagement & Delivery) – 32 Hours per Week (Any 4 in 6 Days Including Bank Holidays)
Location: Throughout the UK (primarily delivering to the elderly, families, and healthcare professionals) Hours: 32 hours/week, any 4 days in every 6, including bank holidays
About the Role
Our drivers are the heart of our business—they bring nutritious, home-cooked meals directly to our customers’ doors, often acting as a vital lifeline for the elderly, vulnerable, and caring professionals. This is a role where serving others, going above and beyond, and embracing teamwork make all the difference.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Delivering high-quality frozen meals in a timely, safe, and responsible manner
- Ensuring orders are picked and prepared correctly within our cold storage (-20°C)
- Using our delivery app to update and track customer deliveries
- Providing outstanding customer service, including friendly interaction and problem-solving
- Carrying out pre-shift van inspections (safety checks, fuel levels, equipment)
- Operating safely and legally in compliance with road regulations
- Maintaining your van (cleaning, refuelling, reporting mechanical issues)
- Sharing discrepancies, delays, or stock concerns with the office team
- Helping in the office or warehouse when required (e.g., order picking, team support)
- Assisting with local marketing (leaflet drops, sheltered housing visits, new customer outreach)

Requirements
Essential
- £13.45 per hour + bonus & company benefits
- Full UK manual driving licence – must have held for at least 2 years
- Passionate about customer service and making real connections with customers
- Basic computer literacy (including phone app usage)
- Proven work stability (no extended gaps)
- Full secondary education
- Physical ability to spend shift times working in a cold warehouse (-20°C) and operating standard delivery vehicles
Desirable
- Experience in multi-drop delivery routes or care-related roles
- Warehouse or production environment experience
- Health & Safety awareness (a plus, but training will be provided)
Personal Qualities
- Friendly, approachable, and dependable – you should enjoy meeting people
- Reliable attendance & timekeeping (regular shift commitments)
- Willingness to go the ‘extra mile’ – small gestures can make a huge difference
