Opportunity in Customer Demand Team
An opportunity has arisen in our Customer Demand Team, and we are looking for a Customer Demand Planner to join us for 12 months, at Taylors of Harrogate at our Plumpton Park site.
Role Overview
As a Customer Demand Planner, you will be responsible for maintaining an accurate forecast, building strong relationships with our retail partners, driving forecast accuracy, and ensuring stock availability in line with both customer and Taylors KPIs. You’ll lead customer review meetings, support new product development, and contribute to process improvements across our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of UK and/or international customers.
- Maintain and update base forecasts with clear assumptions and collaborate with Account Managers on promotional uplifts.
- Deliver against inbound and stock KPIs, identifying and resolving performance gaps through collaboration.
- Lead weekly demand and production planning meetings to align forecasts, stock, and production.
- Represent the Customer Demand team in NPD and range review project meetings.
- Support process mapping for customer supply chain activities.
- Contribute to the development and optimisation of forecasting systems.

Job Details
This is a full-time role working 37.5hrs over 5 days on a 12-month fixed term contract. Hybrid working is available with this role, with the expectation to be in the office 2 days per week as a minimum, collaborating with your team and wider colleagues.

About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is highly analytical, numerate, and confident using Excel and ERP systems.
- Can build strong relationships and work collaboratively across teams.
- Is organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Has strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset.
- Ideally has proven experience in demand planning/supply chain or transferrable skills within an FMCG environment (however this is not a requirement to apply).
