Customer Demand & Supply Manager

Customer Demand & Supply Manager

£88,000 to £93,500 plus excellent benefits, including private healthcare and a £6,000 car allowance (Work Level 4 | 12-month fixed-term contract | Hybrid working from Manchester city centre)

On-call availability on a rota basis for incidents on 8–9 weekends per year.

In this role, you’ll work in a hybrid way, splitting your time between home and office (2–3 days a week, typically Tuesday–Thursday), with occasional UK travel (~twice a month).

About the Role

We’re looking for a Customer Demand & Supply Manager to join the Co-op, leading one of our four category supply teams. As part of Logistics, Supply Chain & Retail Risk, you’ll manage category replenishment across multiple sub-categories, ensuring products flow efficiently from supply chain to stores.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading & developing a diverse team (approxidately 5 direct reports + 30 indirect reports)
  • Shaping & executing supply chain category strategy
  • Maximising customer satisfaction through optimal product availability and quality
  • Optimising end-to-end supply chain operations for cost-effectiveness while balancing service and accessibility

The role involves collaboration with commercial teams, retail operations, suppliers, and distribution partners to drive success in demand forecasting, replenishment, and strategic planning.

Why This Role Matters

Our mission relies on having the right products at the right time. In this position, you’ll:

  • Drive supply chain strategy, working closely with internal partners and external stakeholders.
  • Leverage SAP F&R (Forecasting & Replenishment) to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
  • Focus on performance metrics, identifying cost savings and operational improvements.
  • Strengthen relationships across the supply chain to deliver value for customers and Co-op.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
