- Location: Benfleet & surrounding areas
- Hours: Permanent, full-time (40 hours per week)
- Salary: £30,000 basic + 20% bonus

The Role & Responsibilities
As a Customer Development Executive, you’ll work within Convenience & Independent retail stores to:
- Grow Britvic’s market share in your defined territory by maximising product availability and brand visibility.
- Develop and deliver a territory-wide business plan focusing on strategic sales growth.
- Build & maintain relationships with retailers, customers, and colleagues.
- Achieve key performance metrics (sales targets, customer satisfaction) through data-driven tactics.
- Adopt a full category-based sales approach to enhance business for both the retailer and Britvic.

Key responsibilities include:
- Business Development: Identify and acquire new opportunities, retain existing clients.
- Relationship Management: Consultatively understand retailer needs and tailor solutions.
- Execution Excellence: Drive sales strategies, inspire team collaboration.
- Data & Evidence-Based Approach: Use performance data to optimise territory outcomes.
About You
We’re looking for an ambitious, target-orientated team player with:
✔ Passion for sales & brand advocacy – You live and breathe business growth. ✔ Entrepreneurial mindset – Proactive in relationship-building and commercial negotiations. ✔ Convenience & FMCG familiarity – Previous experience in Direct Sales, FMCG, or Business Development is preferred. ✔ Commercial acumen – Strong negotiation and critical thinking skills to solve challenges. ✔ Communication & collaboration – Excellent interpersonal skills, presentation ability. ✔ Self-motivation & adaptability – Thrives in fast-paced environments with minimal hand-holding. ✔ Manual driving licence essential – Confirmed by successful DVLA check (no more than 6 penalty points or prior bans).
