What You’ll Be Doing

As a Customer Development Lead, you will play a pivotal role in supporting key projects across our Care Services business. You will report to the Care Services Business Operations Manager. Your insights will drive data-driven decision-making, ensuring we meet the needs of our customers effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical and pharmacy-specific insights to support key projects across the Care Services business, including initiatives such as RDH and Pharmacy Growth, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
  • Build and maintain strong internal stakeholder relationships across Healthcare and HR, while delivering high-quality operational support to over 250 Care Services stores and more than 60 Care Services Pharmacists through effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Manage relationships with external Care Sector partners, contributing to marketing and brand presence, and lead end-to-end planning and execution of major events such as the Birmingham Care Show.
  • Develop, refine, and oversee core operational processes for the Care Services Central Support Team, supporting 4,000+ Care Homes and collaborating with field teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Conduct ongoing data analysis to support forecasting and identify trends across items, occupancy, losses, and other operational metrics, enabling proactive decision-making.
  • Collaborate effectively within the Care Services Central Support Team and across the wider Care Services function, ensuring a cohesive and high-performing working environment.
  • Support eMAR account management activities for over 1700 homes, including raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and ensuring full compliance with governance and audit requirements.

What You’ll Need To Have (our Must-haves)

  • Solid understanding of Care Services dispensing operations and care home workflows is highly beneficial, enabling informed decision-making and effective support for operational teams.
  • Proven ability to build strong, collaborative relationships and effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work seamlessly across diverse teams to drive shared outcomes.
  • Strong digital and IT proficiency, with the capability to quickly adopt new systems, tools, and technologies to enhance operational efficiency.

It would be great if you also have

  • Experience in project management within the healthcare sector.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in Care Services.
