Customer Development Director – Retail (Codeweavers)

At Cox Automotive, we're looking for a commercially minded, customer-obsessed leader to join our Enterprise Sales team as Customer Development Director – Retail (Codeweavers).
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for someone who thrives on building strategic customer relationships, developing high-performing teams, and delivering sustainable revenue growth. You'll own a portfolio of key retail customers, lead a team of Customer Development professionals, and play a pivotal role in shaping customer success across our retail solutions portfolio.
What You'll Be Doing
As Customer Development Director, you'll be at the heart of our customer growth strategy, ensuring our customers realise maximum value from their partnership with Cox Automotive while identifying opportunities to expand and strengthen those relationships.
You'll:
- Lead and develop a team of Customer Development Managers and Executives, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and success.
- Protect and grow revenue through strategic account planning, retention initiatives and commercial leadership.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across dealer groups, retailers, lenders, partners and agencies.
- Identify and convert upsell, cross-sell and portfolio expansion opportunities across our Retail solutions.
- Lead complex commercial conversations, negotiations and customer escalations with confidence and professionalism.
- Drive forecasting accuracy, pipeline management and Salesforce excellence across your portfolio.
- Act as the voice of the customer, influencing product development, service improvements and onboarding experiences across the business.

What We're Looking For
You are an experienced commercial leader who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to customer success.
You'll bring:
- A proven track record of leading sales, account management or customer development teams.
- Demonstrable success in delivering revenue growth, customer retention and portfolio expansion.
- Strong leadership capability with experience coaching and developing high-performing teams.
- The confidence and credibility to influence senior leaders and decision-makers.
- Excellent commercial acumen, analytical skills and forecasting expertise.
- The resilience and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
