Customer Engagement Executive - Building Relationships | Connecting Customers | Supporting Account Growth
About The Role
Our Diamond customers are some of our most valued partnerships, and we’re looking for someone who can help strengthen those relationships.
As a Customer Engagement Executive, you’ll be the connection point between our Diamond customers and Account Management team. You’ll proactively speak with customers, reconnect with key contacts, understand their needs and arrange valuable customer review meetings that help our Account Managers deliver exceptional service.
This role is perfect for someone who loves speaking with people, building rapport and creating positive customer experiences. You’ll play a key part in ensuring our customers feel valued, engaged and supported throughout their journey with Safetykleen.
Working closely with Account Managers, Sales and Operations teams, you’ll help identify opportunities, strengthen partnerships and support customer retention and growth.

What You'll Be Doing
- Proactively engaging with customers to arrange customer review meetings for our Account Managers.
- Building strong relationships with customer contacts through friendly, professional conversations.
- Reconnecting with customers who haven’t been engaged recently and creating opportunities to strengthen relationships.
- Understanding customer needs, challenges and priorities, and sharing valuable insights with the Account Management team.
- Confidently communicating the value of regular customer reviews and overcoming objections.
- Managing your customer engagement pipeline to ensure customers receive proactive, consistent contact.
- Preparing Account Managers with relevant customer background and insights ahead of meetings.
- Maintaining accurate CRM records, customer conversations, appointments and follow-up actions.
- Working collaboratively with Sales, Service and Operations teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

About You
You’re a confident communicator who enjoys speaking with customers and building strong working relationships. You’ll be organised, proactive and comfortable managing conversations, follow-ups and appointment activity to support our Account Managers.
You’ll have:
- Experience in customer service, appointment setting, sales support or a similar role.
- Confidence speaking with customers over the phone.
- Experience working towards KPIs or activity targets.
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
- Experience using CRM systems.
Desirable:
- Experience supporting Account Managers or customer relationship teams.
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Experience within waste management, environmental or industrial services.
