About the Role

The Deal Services Customer Engagement Manager (CEM) is a sales-focused role responsible for driving adoption and revenue of SS&C Intralinks’ Deal Services offerings. This role partners with the Field Sales teams to:

  • Identify opportunities
  • Influence deal strategy
  • Build key relationships with stakeholders
  • Position Deal Services throughout the sales cycle

Success metrics include:

  • Deal Services revenue growth
  • Pipeline creation
  • Attach rate (upselling additional services)
  • Field seller engagement within assigned region

About the Team

The Deal Services team operates within a dynamic Global Technical Sales environment, closely collaborating with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Delivery teams. The team focuses on:

  • Identifying opportunities
  • Engaging with customers
  • Delivering new services to market

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the adoption and growth of Deal Services within assigned region
  • Build strategic relationships with Account Executives, Sales Managers, and Deal stakeholders (e.g., bankers, private equity professionals)
  • Proactively identify opportunities through:
    • Account planning reviews
    • Territory analyses
    • Active engagement with sellers
  • Develop win strategies alongside sales teams to leverage Deal Services as a differentiator in competitive situations
  • Conduct customer discovery conversations to uncover unmet needs and value-add opportunities
  • Drive the pipeline lifecycle—creation, progression, and revenue attainment—while meeting assigned targets
  • Enable and mentor field sellers on Deal Services offerings, including objection handling and messaging
  • Serve as the Deal Services subject matter expert (SME) for the region
  • Maintain high activity levels with both sellers and customers to ensure timely opportunities

Requirements

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Communications, or a related field
  • 2–5 years’ experience in:
    • Sales (traditional or priced as a sales overlay)
    • Business development
    • Account management
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders in complex sales cycles
  • Strong track record of building relationships and driving engagement across large seller organizations
  • Comfort operating in a revenue-accountable environment (quota-carrying role)
  • Self-motivation, persistence, and commercial enthusiasm
  • Preferred: Experience in financial services, capital markets, SaaS, or B2B tech
