Success Recruit are currently working with a growing and well-established safety equipment hire business who are looking to recruit a highly professional and capable Customer Experience Executive to join their dynamic team based in Central Essex.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a customer-centric role, consistently ensuring client satisfaction through timely, informative, and professional communication. As the first point of contact for many customers, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience, managing enquiries from initial contact through to successful delivery while keeping customers informed every step of the way.
The Successful Customer Experience Executive Will:
- Demonstrate experience within a customer-focused position
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly manner
- Be highly organised with the ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Be proficient in CRM software, Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, and email management systems or with the ability to learn quickly
- Have strong attention to detail with excellent administrative and problem-solving skills

Purpose of the Role
The main objective of this role is to provide exceptional customer service to both customers and the internal sales team while working closely with Account Managers to ensure seamless communication throughout the customer journey. You will manage customer enquiries, prepare quotations, coordinate with internal departments, and provide proactive updates to ensure every customer receives a professional and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as the first point of contact for customers via telephone and email, ensuring every interaction is handled professionally and efficiently
- Answering incoming telephone calls during designated times throughout the day
- Managing a busy customer service inbox, responding promptly with accurate and informative communication.
- Providing information, resolving customer queries, and directing enquiries to the appropriate departments where necessary
- Managing customer enquiries from initial contact through to successful delivery, ensuring customers are kept informed throughout the process
- Liaising closely with the warehouse regarding stock availability, order progress, and delivery updates
- Using spreadsheets to monitor stock volumes and product availability
- Maintaining accurate customer records and activity within the CRM system
- Providing administrative support to the Account Management team
- Preparing reports, presentations, and documentation to support client meetings where required
- Acting as a problem solver by addressing customer concerns promptly and escalating more complex issues where appropriate
- Following up with customers after delivery to ensure satisfaction, encourage repeat business, and maintain strong customer relationships

Monday – Friday 08.00am – 4.30pm
Salary £25k – £29k dependant on experience
