Customer Experience Advisor

Customer Service Advisor – Cannock, WS11 8JP (Head Office)

Salary: £26,437.00 plus Veolia benefits and pension Hours: 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

What Will You Be Doing?

This role is your opportunity to drive exceptional customer service, fostering meaningful connections and improving efficiencies. Your core responsibilities include:

  • Customer Support:

    • Answering and recording all inbound calls and emails to ensure effective resolutions
    • Finding personalised solutions tailored to customer needs
    • Maintaining strong relationships with both internal teams and external customers
  • Operational Excellence:

    • Continuously seeking ways to enhance customer experiences
    • Keeping detailed records and adhering to data protection regulations
    • Promoting Veolia’s products and services to customers
  • Team Collaboration:

    • Working proactively with colleagues to achieve targets and deliver fast, high-quality resolutions
    • Embracing adaptability with a curious and collegiate mindset
  • Strategic Growth:

    • Contributing to targeted business growth with a commitment to delivering top-tier service daily

We’re searching for: ✅ Exceptional customer focus – always putting needs first via phone, email, or in-person interactions ✅ High emotional intelligence and active listening skills to understand and address concerns ✅ Experience working in collaborative teams and thriving under pressure ✅ Strong organisational skills, with a proven ability to prioritise tasks ✅ Persuasive interpersonal skills and meticulous attention to detail

Essential Personal Qualities:

  • Proactiveness and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to continually grow, both personally and professionally

Key Skills & Knowledge:

  • Speedy, accurate typing and a friendly, professional telephone manner
  • Basic understanding of business finances and customer profitability metrics
  • Proficient in Google Office Applications (e.g., Sheets, Docs) with an aptitude for learning new systems
  • Self-motivation to go above and beyond for customer satisfaction

Educational Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications preferred:
    • NVQ Level 2 in Customer Services (or equivalent)
    • At least 5 GCSEs at grade C or above, including Maths and English
