We’re looking for a friendly, knowledgeable, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Experience Team Member. If you’re passionate about delivering great service, enjoy working with people, and want to be part of a business that supports rural communities, we’d love to hear from you.

About The Role

Contract: Temporary (3 Months)

Hours: Part-time

Hours of Work: 8 Hours per week, working Sunday

As a Customer Experience Team Member, you’ll be at the heart of our store — helping customers find the right products, offering expert advice, and creating a welcoming environment. You’ll work closely with your team to deliver a high-quality retail experience, support sales targets, and ensure every customer leaves with a positive impression.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Delivering friendly, knowledgeable, and solution-focused service
  • Building strong relationships with customers and understanding their needs
  • Promoting current offers and recommending suitable products
  • Supporting the delivery of sales targets and store KPIs
  • Handling customer queries and taking ownership of follow-up
  • Demonstrating strong product knowledge across all departments
  • Promoting our membership scheme and processing transactions accurately
  • Maintaining high standards of store presentation and stock awareness
  • Following health & safety procedures and safe working practices

About You

  • A genuine interest in customer service and retail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good IT skills and a willingness to learn new systems
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
  • Awareness of Data Protection / GDPR and Health & Safety standards
