The Role
The Customer Host will work as part of a team responsible for the day-to-day delivery of a high standard on-board catering service to passengers.
Role Responsibilities
- Offer passengers the on-board trolley service throughout the journey, complying with health and safety protocols at all times to meet customer needs and ensure a high-quality customer service.
- Be responsible for on-board trolley stock by checking the trolley has enough supply for serving customers prior to the train departing to ensure we can provide the on-board service.
- Be responsible for maintaining the trolley by keeping it clean, well equipped with an up-to date price list and report any condition issues to the Depot Manager to enable us to provide the on-board service.
- Comply with health and safety policies and procedures, safety protocols and briefs by adhering to relevant regulations including COSHH assessments and food hygiene standards to ensure we provide a safe and hygienic on-board service.

Who We're Looking For
- Previous experience of working in a customer focused role.
- Ability to upsell and promote products to the general public.
- Flexible and available to work the shifts required - we run a 7-day operation & work 5 shifts over the 7 days
Welsh Language Skills
While not essential for this role, Welsh language skills would make a great addition to your application.
