Customer Identity and Access Management Consultant

Customer Identity and Access Management Consultant

Location: Flex-Hybrid Working (Few Days Per Month in a UK-Based Office)
Salary: Up to £60,000 + Package

We're looking for a CIAM Consultant to join a growing digital identity team, helping organisations deliver secure, seamless customer experiences through modern Customer Identity & Access Management solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale identity programmes, partnering with clients to design and implement solutions that balance security, usability, and scalability.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing and implementing Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) solutions.
  • Working with clients to translate business and customer experience requirements into scalable technical designs.
  • Delivering modern digital identity solutions that support large user populations.
  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders across complex programmes.
  • Advising clients on CIAM best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging identity trends.
  • Exploring modern authentication technologies including biometrics, passwordless authentication, and AI-driven fraud detection.
  • Supporting the delivery of digital identity and IAM projects across a range of industries.
  • Contributing to innovation, new service offerings, and the growth of the wider CIAM practice.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years' commercial experience in Identity & Access Management or Customer Identity & Access Management.
  • Strong understanding of authentication, authorisation, federation, and modern identity concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with CIAM platforms such as Okta, ForgeRock, Ping Identity, Transmit, or Azure AD B2C.
  • Experience delivering technology solutions in client-facing or consulting environments.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Understanding of GDPR, UK Data Protection requirements, and their impact on customer identity solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and workstreams.
  • Exposure to Zero Trust, adaptive authentication, API security, or wider identity security frameworks would be advantageous.
  • Experience integrating CIAM platforms into enterprise environments is desirable.
