Customer Liaison Executive Department: Sales Location: Windlesham

We are looking for a Customer Liaison Executive to play a pivotal role in supporting our customers throughout the purchase, design, and specification journey of their vehicle. Working closely with the Gordon Murray leadership team, this role ensures seamless, engaging, and highly personalised interactions from start to finish.


The Role

You will be responsible for enhancing every aspect of the customer journey, ensuring each interaction embodies the brand’s values, standards, and exclusivity. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the customer experience: Deliver and refine an engaging, memorable purchase and ownership journey for both new and existing GMA customers.
  • Brand advocacy: Deepen your understanding of Gordon Murray’s heritage and effectively communicate this to customers and internal teams.
  • Customer communication: Maintain regular updates via preferred channels, ensuring the CRM system is always accurate and up to date.
  • Specification facilitation: Coordinate vehicle specification sessions (in-person or remotely), making the process enjoyable, informative, and user-friendly for every customer.
  • Expert guidance: Utilise deep product knowledge to advise customers on available options while capturing and documenting all requirements meticulously.
  • Revenue support: Drive options uptake to meet departmental sale targets and performance goals.
  • Invoicing & payments: Manage invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timely payments per sales agreements.
  • Internal representation: Act as the voice of the customer during internal specification reviews, collaborating cross-functionally for delivery alignment.
  • Progress tracking: Maintain clear visibility on specification milestones, reporting updates, and resolving outstanding requirements in a timely manner.
  • Document sharing: Distribute specification updates and progress reports at key stages to meet deadline commitments.
  • Event engagement: Represent Gordon Murray at UK and international customer events, fostering first-hand connections.
  • Sample logistics: Oversee the management, approval, distribution, and archiving of physical colour/trim samples.
  • Confidentiality: Safeguard customer data and secure all related materials.
  • CRM maintenance: Keep customer records and ownership information up to date.
  • Flexibility: Provide outside-hours support when needed to uphold unparalleled customer satisfaction.

About You

We are seeking a passionate, detail-oriented professional with experience in luxury or premium customer environments. You will thrive in dynamic, high-value settings and possess the following:

  • Relevant industry experience: Prefers luxury goods/lifestyle (sales, customer experience, or customer-facing roles).
  • Attention to detail: Must accurately capture, organise, and document customer requirements.
  • Tech proficiency: Advanced use of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), Salesforce, Smartsheet, and Power BI.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders, including ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
  • Organisational skills: Ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and remain precise in fast-paced environments.
  • Adaptability: Proactive, independent, yet collaborative—working effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Professionalism: A discreet, confidential approach to handling sensitive customer information.
