Customer Loyalty Manager

Senior Loyalty Manager (UK Retail Brand)

About the Role

We’re partnering with one of the UK’s most recognised retail brands to recruit an experienced Senior Loyalty Manager—a leadership role at the intersection of commercial strategy and customer experience.

This commercially focused position requires you to own end-to-end online loyalty strategy, driving:

  • Customer retention
  • Purchase frequency
  • Long-term customer lifetime value (CLV)

Working cross-functionally with Ecommerce, CRM, Product, UX, and Commercial teams, you’ll shape a loyalty programme that delivers measurable business growth whilst enhancing the customer experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Defining and delivering a long-term online loyalty strategy and roadmap
  • Ownership of commercial performance, including:
    • Retention
    • Purchase frequency
    • Customer lifetime value (CLV)
    • Return on investment (ROI)
  • Identifying revenue and margin growth opportunities through data-led loyalty initiatives
  • Embedding loyalty into the online customer journey via collaboration with Ecommerce, CRO, UX, and Product teams
  • Leveraging first-party data for personalisation, segmentation, and targeted customer engagement
  • Influencing senior stakeholders and managing relationships with external tech partners and suppliers
  • Championing a test-and-learn culture to optimise performance and engagement

About the Candidate

We’re looking for a strategic loyalty professional with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for customer experience.

Ideal candidates will bring:

  • Significant ttrack record of owning and developing customer loyalty programmes
  • A proven ability to improve:
    • Customer retention
    • Engagement
    • Lifetime value
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills, capable of translating data into business strategies
  • Experience in Ecommerce and an understanding of digital customer journeys
  • The confidence to influence senior stakeholders across multiple business functions
  • Cross-functional leadership experience, including:
    • Managing external partners
    • Delivering cross-functional projects
  • Experience in retail, grocery, or FMCG would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of:
    • CRM platforms
    • Loyalty technologies
    • Having led a loyalty transformation programme
