Customer Marketing Activation Manager (Sustainability) – Tork | Essity

Essity is looking for a Customer Marketing Activation Manager (Sustainability) to drive our ambitious sustainability agenda for Tork, a global leader in professional hygiene. Working closely with Sales and Marketing, you will position Tork as a sustainability leader and deliver value-led solutions to customers.

About the Role

Based in Dunstable and reporting to the Regional Customer Marketing Manager (Sustainability) in Sweden, you will lead the activation of the sustainability strategy across UK & Ireland. Partnering with local and regional teams, you will drive customer engagement, strengthen brand equity, and support commercial growth through sustainability-led initiatives.

What You Will Do

  • Drive growth: Deliver sustainability initiatives within joint business plans for key customers
  • Customer engagement: Build strong relationships and credibility with strategic end customers
  • Tenders & support: Act as subject matter expert (SME) for sustainability-related customer queries and tenders
  • Marketing activation: Deliver and track sustainability campaigns with marketing teams
  • Internal expertise: Share best practice, tools, and insights to support Sales and Marketing
  • Thought leadership: Represent Tork externally and support brand and sustainability storytelling
  • Training: Lead sustainability training for internal teams and distributor partners

Who You Are

A passionate sustainability advocate with a strong commercial mindset. You thrive in a dynamic environment and can:

  • Simplify complexity
  • Effectively translate sustainability into customer value
  • Degree in Sustainability, Business, Marketing, or similar
  • Proven marketing experience with a sustainability focus in B2B and/or B2C
  • Strong knowledge of sustainability frameworks (e.g., LCA, GHG, ecolabels)
  • Customer-focused with experience delivering commercial plans
  • Confident communicator and presenter, comfortable as a spokesperson
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix environment
  • Willingness to travel in UK&IE (around 20%) as well as some international travel to Nordic countries (approx. 20–30 days per year)
