An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Marketing Manager to join William Grant & Sons UK distribution team.
As a Customer Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in building consumer desirability for our portfolio of brands by delivering impactful customer-facing activation programmes. This role sits at the heart of our commercial and marketing agenda, partnering closely with Brand and Sales teams to deliver best-in-class customer activations that bring our brands to life and create meaningful impact for both our customers and consumers.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded marketer who thrives on turning insight into action, building strong stakeholder relationships, and delivering measurable results in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities
- To develop and execute customer activation plans aligned to channel strategies and customer opportunities which drive brand visibility, distribution and conversion through impactful point-of-purchase activations.
- Use customer and shopper insights to identify the most effective marketing opportunities and activation levers collaborating with Brand Managers to shape customer-centric activation plans and support brand strategy execution.
- Evaluate post campaign performance and identify opportunities to optimise future activity and ROI.
- Own activation planning, tracking and stakeholder communications to ensure smooth delivery and visibility.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships and contribute to account management and planning discussions.
- Effectively manage budgets, compliance processes and operational controls.
- Work collaboratively as part of the Customer Marketing team to drive to collective success.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Experienced in Customer, Trade or Shopper Marketing within the Route to Market or On-Trade sector.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of customer activation strategies and omni channel consumer engagement.
- Experience working collaboratively with Sales, Commercial and Brand teams.
- Ability to analyse results and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent project management and prioritisation skills and experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills working in a team and with stakeholder management capabilities.
- Sound budget management and governance experience.
- A proactive, results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Positive and solution focused mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality, well-executed customer activations.
