Customer Onboarding Specialist – Career Transition & Mobility
As a Customer Onboarding Specialist at LHH, you will play a vital role in driving engagement and participation in our career transition programs. LHH is a leading global provider of career transition solutions, supporting individuals who have been made redundant by their employers. You will ensure a positive experience for program participants as they begin their journey with us, collaborating with LHH consultants and stakeholders to deliver services effectively.
Reporting Relationship
- Reports to: Engagement Team Manager (UK)
Location & Home Working
- Location: Remote (Residence in the UK required)
- Travel: Business as required
Key Accountabilities
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Contacting career transition program participants via call and email to:
- Introduce them to the onboarding process
- Activate their program in the system
- Providing a professional, engaging introduction to the career coaching program, addressing any queries
- Encouraging active participation while demonstrating understanding of their unique challenges
- Maintaining efficient call management, with 3–5-minute calls and a target of 15 calls per hour during busy periods
Requirements

- Essential:
- Previous call centre experience (vital)
- Strong target-driven mindset
- Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written), including a professional phone manner
- Interpersonal skills to build rapport and establish strong relationships
- Ability to understand, validate, and support individuals through career transitions & talent development
- Basic computer literacy & data entry skills
- Multitasking and managing your time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A positive and proactive attitude
