About the Role

At Alstom, we improve the ways people and goods move across cities and countries. We deliver rail transit systems—from high-speed trains and metros to signalling technology and digitised mobility solutions—that reduce carbon emissions while connecting urban regions efficiently.

As a Customer Enquiry Processor, you’ll ensure all customer interactions—from enquiries to quotes and orders—are logged, processed right-first-time, and aligned with our ALSTOM Electronics business systems. You’ll be the trusted link between customers and our operations, fostering seamless communication with planning, manufacturing, engineering, and sales teams while elevating our service standards at all touchpoints.

Please note: This enrollment is part of the On-the-Job Training programme, offering a structured learning path on our systems and processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing all customer enquiries, quotes, and orders through ALSTOM’s systems with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Acting as the primary communications hub for raising, logging, and addressing customer concerns.
  • Serving as the first point of contact for internal (visitors) and external (customers) interactions at Alstom Electronics, ensuring a high standard of service.
  • Assisting with general administrative duties as required, including order coordination, planning, and reporting.
  • Adhering to deadlines, KPIs, and Operation Manager targets while reporting all HR or Health & Safety (HSE) issues.
  • Enhancing collaborative relationships with colleagues in assembly, sales, purchasing, and other operational teams.
  • Ensuring meeting of key performance indicators (KPIs) for delivery and service levels.
  • Maintaining compliance with Alstom’s quality and operational standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
