The Role

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Customer Operations Executive to support the smooth day-to-day execution of customer orders and retailer operations across the UK and EU.

This role is responsible for ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently, acting as a key point of contact for customers, retail partners, warehouses, and internal teams. The successful candidate will play an important role in delivering excellent customer service while supporting supply chain execution and operational performance.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing FMCG business and develop a broad understanding of customer operations, supply chain processes, and commercial execution.

What You'll Be Doing

Customer Order Management

  • Process and manage customer orders across retail, wholesale, and distributor accounts in the UK
  • Ensure orders are entered accurately and delivered in line with customer requirements
  • Monitor order fulfilment and proactively resolve issues that may impact service levels
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics partners to ensure timely dispatch and delivery
  • Process and dispatch sample orders for prospects

Customer Service & Account Support

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer operational enquiries for both B2B and D2C
  • Manage order amendments, delivery queries, invoice discrepancies, and stock availability requests
  • Build strong working relationships with customers and retail partners
  • Support onboarding of new customers and operational setup requirements
  • Support the Sales team with customer communication and ad-hoc tasting events

Retailer & Platform Administration

  • Manage retailer portals and customer systems as well as our Shopify platform
  • Assist with product assemblies and product data management in our ERP system
  • Maintain accurate customer records, pricing files, and product information
  • Support promotional activity setup and customer communications
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements and service expectations

Stock Management

  • Monitor inventory across our UK warehouse and highlight potential shortage risks or short-dated stock availability
  • Work with the Planning and Procurement team members to ensure timely delivery of new production stock into our UK warehouse
  • Complete monthly stock reconciliations with our warehousing partners
  • Assist with product assemblies and product data management in our ERP system

Data Analysis

  • Analyse key supply chain data and highlight operational risks with our 3PL partners
  • Deliver clear, actionable reports to senior management where necessary

Project Management

  • Use tools like Asana and Gantt charts to manage project timelines and priorities
  • Work independently while collaborating closely with teams in the UK and EU

Who You Are

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Organised, solution-oriented, and proactive
  • Experienced in sales operations, customer care, logistics, and/or supply chain coordination
  • Experience working with ERP systems and retailer portals
  • Proficient using Google services and Slack
  • Strong communicator, able to collaborate across countries and functions
  • Calm under pressure, able to manage multiple priorities

Preferred Experience

  • 1+ years in a similar supply chain or logistics/customer service roles
  • Experience working in food or drinks business and understanding of batch traceability
  • Experience working with UK wholesale and retail customers
  • Experience working with Unleashed ERP or other relevant ERP and WMS systems
