Customer Operations Manager

About the Role

The Customer Operations Manager is a critical leader within the InSite division. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day execution of customer contracts, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and stores management excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the primary face of the InSite operation, fostering and maintaining strong relationships with key customer stakeholders.
  • Act as the first point of contact for escalated risks and low-level issue resolution, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions.
  • Provide procurement support for the customer’s engineering team.
  • Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and contractual customer requirements.
  • Implement and monitor processes that enhance operational efficiency and accuracy in stores management.
  • Own and report on contractual KPIs, ensuring performance metrics are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Manage the InSite budget, with full commercial responsibility for driving revenue and margin growth.
  • Utilise tools and resources to identify opportunities for profitability improvement.
  • Collaborate with Product Business Units to provide tailored solutions that deliver optimal customer value.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce value-added services that benefit customers while supporting Rubix’s growth.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and Product Business Units to align solutions with evolving customer needs.

Working Hours

  • Monday - Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
  • Total Hours: 40 per week (Includes a total of 60 minutes of scheduled breaks.)

Key Skills, Experience & Requirements

  • Customer Relationship Management: Proven ability to resolve inquiries, provide tailored solutions, and maintain long-term client partnerships.
  • Engineering Background: Essential core experience in an engineering role.
  • Leadership & People Management: Ability to guide teams effectively.
  • Operational Excellence: Strong expertise in enhancing process efficiency.
  • KPI Management: Experience tracking, analysing, and optimising performance metrics.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactive approach to refining operations.
  • Collaboration: Willingness to work closely with multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • HSEQ Knowledge: Familiarity with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality principles is a plus.
  • Full UK/Ireland Driving Licence: Mandatory.
