Role: Customer Relations Advisor

Reporting To:

Contact Centre Manager

Work Location:

Office-based at JD Gyms Contact Centre Kirkstall Road, Leeds, LS4 2AZ

Hours:

30 hours per week, across 4 days.


Purpose of the Role

As a Customer Relations Advisor, your mission is to deliver outstanding customer service to JD Gyms members. You’ll resolve enquiries efficiently, manage membership-related inquiries, and uphold JD Gyms’ brand values in every interaction.


💼 Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound customer enquiries via multiple communication channels.
  • Resolve membership queries including cancellations, freezes, payment concerns, and account updates with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Provide clear, friendly, and informative guidance on JD Gyms’ products, services, and policies.
  • Manage and escalate complaints in line with company protocols to ensure timely, satisfactory resolutions.
  • Maintain precise records of all interactions and updates using JD Gyms’ internal systems.
  • Support operational teams by communicating member feedback and identifying common issues.
  • Promote a positive customer experience by offering fast, helpful, and brand-aligned service.

🧠 Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous customer service or contact centre experience is a must.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with adaptability to tone for varied channels.
  • Capability to handle high-volume enquiries while upholding service quality.
  • Confidence and composure in managing challenging situations with patience and problem-solving focus.
  • Strong IT skills, with the ability to quickly learn and master new systems.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
