Customer Representative (Ashford, Kent)

As a Customer Representative, you’ll make a real impact from your first day.
You’ll be a key part of the branch team, supporting customers in person, over the phone, and online. Your role includes:
- Handling everyday transactions
- Answering queries with clarity and care
- Guiding customers towards banking services and digital tools to simplify money management
No two days are the same, and you’ll be trusted to adapt your approach to meet the needs of different customers and situations.

While other banks are closing branches, we’ve made a Branch Promise—keeping all 696 branches open until at least 2030. Our Customer Representatives play a vital local role, ensuring customers in 148 towns still have access to high-street banking.

Location & Role Details
We’re hiring for a permanent full-time position (35 hours/week, Monday–Saturday) in our Ashford, Kent branch.
Requirements:
- Live within a 45-minute commute of the branch.
- Join by 1 July 2026, with the minimum salary set at £26,500.
We understand this is a pivotal stage in your career, so the first three weeks of training form the foundation of your role. We ask that no holiday is taken during this time. Your start date will be confirmed once you accept an offer.
