Customer Representative

At Nationwide, the Customer Representative role focuses on delivering outstanding support across all customer services, including:

  • Handling transactions on the till
  • Managing inbound calls from customers with allocated time slots
  • Supporting product applications through digital sales
  • Providing first-class service in-person, over the phone, and online

Training will be provided for all these responsibilities, ensuring you feel confident in your new role.

About the Role

This role is essential to the branch team, acting as the first point of contact to protect and support members. Some branches may have limited opening hours to the public during busy periods, with key customer interactions happening over the phone.

The role is currently recruiting talent within the Havant area. Interviews will be held to build a Talent Bank for this location.

Key Details

  • If this role is advertised as part-time, the salary will be adjusted accordingly (pro rata).
  • Ideal candidates should live within a 45-minute commute of the branch.
  • Training will be delivered virtually and based in the branch once started.
  • First 3 weeks of training are critical to career development—no holidays will be permitted at this stage.
