Retail Sales Associate – Halfords (Motoring & Cycling)

- Age 21+ : £12.71 per hour
- Under 21 : £10.85 per hour
About The Role
Got a knack for customers? We’re looking for dynamic, customer-focused team members to join our retail SaLES team at Halfords.
We especially value those with Retail sales experience, but if you’ve worked in any customer-focused sales environment, you’ll fit right in here. Whether you’re already brilliant at keeping things moving efficiently or hungry to learn, we’ll give you the product expertise and training to delight every customer.

Responsibilities
To thrive in this role, you’ll:
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ideally within retail sales
- Take a proactive approach to helping customers and understanding their needs
- Use problem-solving skills to address enquiries and challenges effectively
- Commit to flexible rota shifts, including weekends
- Work towards sales targets (ideally with prior experience)

You’ll gain hands-on experience demonstrating and explaining our products, from cycling accessories to motoring services, as well as assisting with fittings and practical services.
Requirements
- Experience delivering great customer service (especially in a retail sales environment)
- A customer-focused attitude and ability to connect with people
- Problem-solving skills to meet customer needs
- Flexibility to work weekends and rotas
- Bonus points for achieving sales targets in past roles
