Shop Assistant (Temporary or Part-Time Role) – Halfords
Salary & Location
- Age 21+: £12.71 per hour
- Under 21: £10.85 per hour
About the Role
Do you have a great customer service instinct? Ideally, you have retail sales experience—but if your background is in any customer-focused sales setting, you could be perfect for this role.
This is a fantastic opportunity to help us provide top-notch service while learning new skills. You’ll gain hands-on product knowledge and develop your wiring skills—whether you’re explaining our products or assisting with fittings.

Key Responsibilities
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Experience delivering excellent customer service, preferably in retail sales
- A proactive approach to understanding and meeting customer needs
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work a rotas schedule, including weekends
- Ideally, experience working towards and achieving sales targets
