Customer Sales Advisor
Retail Sales Assistant - Halfords (Motoring & Cycling Retailing)
Rate:
- Age 21+: £12.71 per hour
- Under 21: £10.85 per hour
Who we’re looking for:
Do you have a knack for working with customers? If you have experience in retail sales—or any customer-focused sales environment—we’d love to speak with you!
We’re seeking passionate individuals with a knack for efficient and friendly service. You’ll receive comprehensive product knowledge training to ensure you can confidently demonstrate and explain our products, as well as provide exceptional fitting services.

About the Role
- Deliver outstanding customer service in a retail environment, demonstrating Halfords’ commitment to excellence in sales and product support.
- Develop and expand your skills with practical training in product knowledge, retail operations, and service expertise.
- Embrace a proactive and solution-focused approach to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Work flexibly on a rota basis, including weekends where required.

Requirements
To thrive in this role, you should have or be developing:
- Experience in retail sales (or equivalent customer-facing roles).
- A preference to help customers proactively and understand their needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills to provide swift, helpful solutions.
- Availability to work on rotas, including weekends where necessary.
- Ideally, some experience of meeting sales targets or handling financial outcomes in a customer service environment.
