Retail Sales Assistant – Halfords
£12.71 per hour (Age 21+) £10.85 per hour (Under 21)

About the Role
Ideally, you already have retail sales experience, but if you’ve worked in another customer-focused sales environment, you’ll likely be a great fit here. You’re proactive, quick, and you thrive on efficiency. We’ll provide the product knowledge and skills training to help you impress every customer—from demonstrating our products to delivering fitting services.
We believe in training and career development. Whether you want to grow within retail or pursue other opportunities within the Group, we’ll support you every step of the way.
Responsibilities
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to:
- Provide exceptional customer service, ideally with prior experience in a retail or sales environment
- Take a proactive approach to meeting customer needs and solving problems
- Work flexibly on a rota system, including weekends
- Meet sales targets (great if you’ve previously achieved similar)
