Retail Sales Assistant

- Age 21+: £12.71 per hour
- Under 21: £10.85 per hour
Do you have a knack for customers?
We’re on the lookout for those with some retail experience (or another customer-focused sales environment). You’ll need to demonstrate:
- Quick and efficient working – we’ll provide the product knowledge and training to give recommendation-spot-on advice to customers, whether spoken or through product demonstration/fitting guidance.
From providing training to develop your career in Retail or elsewhere within the group, we’re committed to helping you achieve your ambitions at your own pace.
About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive, customer-savvy person with a knack for customer service. If you love helping others, we could be the perfect match—whether in Retail, at Halfords or in another exciting part of our Group.
Key Responsibilities
You will need to deliver great customer service, ideally in a retail sales role. Your approach will set the tone for the customer experience:
- Proactive customer support – anticipating and meeting customer needs
- Problem-solving skills – to troubleshoot and answer queries effectively
- Flexibility – availability to work on a rota basis, including weekends
- (Ideally) Sales experience – balancing customer care with performance targets
