About the Role
You’ll join Halfords, a fast-growing business focused on motoring services, electric mobility, and cycling products, making you and others’ journeys safer and more enjoyable. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a customer-focused environment and is eager to learn and grow.
Ideal candidates have retail sales experience, but we welcome anyone from other customer-facing roles—let us train you on our products, services, and fitting support.
Our training programme is tailored to help you stand out and develop professionally, whether your goal is to progress within Retail or another area of the business. You will:
- Develop and deliver an exceptional in-store retail experience by offering expert product advice, fitting, and support
- Become a product expert with hands-on training aligned to Halfords core business areas of motoring and cycling
Key Responsibilities
- Provide top-tier customer service, especially in retail sales environments
- Understand and anticipate customer needs, adapting to deliver the best possible support
- Engage dynamically with customers, ensuring a rewarding purchase experience
- Achieve or improve on sales targets (preferred experience)
- Participate in a rotating schedule, including weekends and evenings, to tailor to business demands

Requirements
- Experience in delivering excellent customer service in sales-focused environments
- Familiarity with achieving sales targets (ideal but not mandatory)
- Ability to work proactively and solve problems quickly
- Strong enthusiasm for a dynamic and evolving retail sector, particularly in the world of motoring, cycling, and electric mobility
