Customer & Sales Manager
As Tulloch of Cummingston continues to grow, we're creating a brand-new role within our business. We're looking for someone with a background in residential construction, architecture or design who enjoys working with people and wants to become the face of our customer journey.
Unlike a traditional housebuilder, our customers have significant input into the design and specification of their homes. This unique role combines customer sales, bespoke design coordination, marketing, and brand development, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within an award-winning family business.
The Role
As our Customer & Sales Manager, you'll become a key point of contact for customers from their initial enquiry through to handover, helping them create their ideal home while ensuring they receive an exceptional level of service throughout the process. No two customers, and no two days are the same.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing customer enquiries, property viewings and sales progression
- Guiding customers through design choices, upgrades and bespoke alterations
- Liaising with our technicians, site managers and suppliers to coordinate customer requests
- Managing our website, Rightmove listings, CRM communications and social media presence
- Producing brochures, newsletters and other marketing material
- Coordinating photography, drone footage, award submissions and company publicity
- Visiting developments to monitor progress and assist with quality and snagging inspections
- Helping identify future opportunities through networking, planning applications and business development

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
