About the Role

We are seeking a customer-focused, highly organised professional to assume a critical customer-facing role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Main customer interaction point for inquiries about orders, lead times, and product availability.
  • Build and sustain relationships through accurate and timely communication via phone, Teams, and email, delivering real-time updates on:
    • Orders, inventory, pricing, and delivery schedules.
  • Manage end-to-end order process, including:
    • Contract review and order entry.
    • Stock verification and tracking.
    • Ensuring on-time, expectation-aligned deliveries.
  • Ensure compliance with minimum quantity, pricing, and Export Control regulations.
  • Monitor order commitments while collaborating with internal teams:
    • Supply Chain, Customer Service, Quality, Dispatch, and Production, to resolve issues efficiently.

Working Arrangements:

  • Core days: Monday – Thursday with a flexi start (07:45 – 08:15), finishing between 16:30 to 17:15 (dependent on start time).
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM (half day).

Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Qualified to A-Level or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
  • Customer service experience preferred (not compulsory).

Competencies:

  • Strong communication & relationship-building skills.
  • Excel proficiency with basic MRP/Material Requirements Planning experience (minimum).
  • Highly organised, with attention to detail and accuracy in handling data.
  • Analytical, with problem-solving and decision-making strengths.
  • Customer-focused mindset and a positive, professional attitude.
  • Confident handling customer interactions, with expertise in real-time order updates.
