Your New Company

I am currently working with an organisation that requires up to X2 Customer Service Advisors for their team at a particularly busy time on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and delivering a high standard of service in a fast-paced environment.

Working as part of a small and supportive team, you will be the first point of contact for customers, responding to a variety of enquiries relating to payments, pricing, waste services, and general account queries. The role is fully site-based and requires strong communication skills across both telephone and email channels.

Your new role

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming customer enquiries via telephone and email.
  • Handle queries relating to payments, invoices, account balances, and pricing information.
  • Provide accurate information regarding waste collection and related services.
  • Resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally, escalating where necessary.
  • Update and maintain customer records on internal systems.
  • Process customer requests and ensure all actions are completed accurately.
  • Work closely with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Support the wider team with administrative duties as required.
  • Ensure all customer interactions are handled in line with company procedures and service standards.

What You'll Need To Succeed

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in a customer service, contact centre, or administration role.
  • Confident handling customer enquiries over the phone and via email.
  • Professional, friendly, and able to build rapport with customers.
  • Organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.
  • A strong team player who is willing to support colleagues when needed.
  • Able to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging queries.

What You'll Get In Return

You will get the opportunity to work for an excellent organisation and, whilst the role is initially on a temporary basis, there is scope for the position to be extended or made permanent depending on performance and business needs. You will work Monday–Friday 08:30-16:30. The rate of pay is £16.45 inclusive of holiday pay and requires an immediate start.
