Customer Service Administrator
£15,862.08 per annum
Location: Blandford Forum, Dorset Arrangement of Hours:
- Option 1: 8.30am – 5pm (24 hrs/week, Wed–Fri)
- Option 2: 12pm – 5pm (25 hrs/week, Mon–Fri)
About the Role
We are looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to join the team within our Dorset Home Improvement Service Centre in Blandford Forum.
As a Customer Service Administrator, you will:
- Carry out administration duties supporting Minor & Major adaptations under Dorset Council grants.
- Handle calls from service users, family members, and healthcare professionals, providing clear and professional responses.
- Work closely with Dorset Council services and external bodies to ensure a seamless customer experience while adhering to Millbrook Healthcare’s data-sharing policies.
- Operate within a rewarding and motivated team committed to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Support:
- Assist and manage incoming calls, responding promptly and professionally to customer queries.
- Provide friendly and efficient support to service users, family members, and healthcare professionals.

Administrative Duties:
- Process invoices from contractors.
- Monitor a shared inbox to address queries and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Create and manage documents for the Major Adaptation Team as required.

General Office Support:
- Perform day-to-day administration enabling smooth operational workflow.
Requirements
- Experience in customer service environments (telephone/email), preferably in an administration or fast-paced office setting.
- Invoice processing experience, with familiarity in handling financial documentation.
- Strong organisational skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Previous experience in diary management and triage of workflows.
- Ability to prioritise and manage workloads independently.
- Professional demeanour, with confidence in telephone and email communication.
- Competent IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to adapt to new systems.
- Team player, comfortable both in collaborative and independent work settings.
- Subject to a DBS disclosure as this is a regulated activity.

What We Offer
✅ Salary: £15,862.08 per annum. ✅ Part-time roles: 24 or 25 hours per week (dependent on chosen schedule). ✅ Holiday Entitlement: 25 days (pro-rata) + bank holidays, with an additional 5 days (unpaid optional leave). ✅ Pension Scheme & Life Assurance included. ✅ Perks & Discounts: Membership to a 200+ exclusive retailer and leisure discounts scheme.
